I wanted to like this and I really tried, the genre and storyline are right up there with things I like but I just couldn't. I could only ever stand to read 1-2 chapters at a time and I could not finish the book. Side characters are 1 dimensional with 1 trick that gets constantly used (large breasted girl's breasts constantly swaying, body conscious girl constantly body conscious etc.), MC is annoying and displays absolutely no character growth throughout the book. If anything he seems to get more annoying as the story goes one.
I'm about 3/4 through the book but really don't think I can be bothered finishing it.
The story premise is similar to any number of isekai type stories but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

I hate this ******* book so much. I’m okay with generic isekai. When it comes to these light novels it’s all about the characters, not the plot. That said, OH MY GOD I HATE HARUKA. He is the worst character I have ever read in a light novel and his narration is irritating beyond words. There are so many unnecessary chapters that are just paragraphs repeating themselves, and the joke of the whole novel is that the main character insults, inconveniences, and destroys the lives of anybody he comes across and the girls in his class idolize him. It’s sickening to see these characters fall for such a toxic guy who doesn’t give two Fs about them. I really wanted to give up, but I vowed to finish every Ebook I have so... That said, I should have given up.

Good story, some translation oddities I've read fan translations of this online, and I like the story a lot. It's an absurd plot, even by the standard of Japanese isekai light novels, but it's still a lot of fun. The MC is crazy, like ADHD and communication issues plus insane logic, but is still a reliable narrator and sympathetic character. Worth reading. Just a few things that bug me translation wise, but nothing huge. The Japanese idiom "poster girl" was translated here as "flyers girl", as in she's literally handing out posters/flyers to advertise the inn. It's more like a mascot or pretty girl you'd use in your advertising images. I also think that some jokes were lost in translation, but it seems like it was done to avoid using certain insults or curses in that are worse in English than Japanese. Overall, a neat, clean, well-edited translation of a good story.

I’ve never been one to find a book I could not put down. Finishing a book in days was never a thought. Months maybe but from the moment I opened I lost myself. I can’t wait to read more from such a talent.

Haruka, a young teenage boy in high school gets transported into a completely different world, this world is full of magic and fantasy-like beings from orcs, to ogres, and goblins. Haruka-kun wasn’t teleported to this strange world by himself though, he was also transported with the rest of his classmates. Haruka had tried to escape from being teleported and in turn he was teleported last and was given the leftover trashy abilities. Now Haruka and his class are trapped in an unknown world, how will they escape and what misadventures happen on their journey? Something I liked about this book was Oda and his friends, although they didn’t appear that much. They were quite interesting characters, even if they portrayed your typical group of nerds they were good hearted and kind, as they worked hard to keep their peers safe from the unknown dangers of the world. The main character, Haruka, was the biggest flaw in the story by far. He breaks the 4th wall numerous times to the point where it’s not funny, he’s very perverted, and he is the densest character in the whole story. Not only does he not remember any of his classmates no matter how many times he is reminded, he also has a weird sense of logic. For example, when one of his classmates couldn't sleep because they were worried about bearing bad news to him, he asked if they ‘lost sheep’ and that was just not funny at all. Honestly there were so many flaws in this book I would feel bad if I named them all. Even though I personally didn’t like the story, I believe that light novel lovers, and people who absolutely love fantasy and isekai stories might enjoy this book. Also, do not read this book if you are under 13 years of age as it has some spicy moments. Overall I would personally rate this book a 1 out of 5 starts, it was very unappealing to me.

This books MC is unbelievably annoying. Like just horrific. Also the story gets hard to follow at points for no reason. MC runs into mean girls, MC manages to enslave them on accident, they start fighting alongside him as the MC tries to runaway from them for some reason. Then out of no where, all the other girls from the class are there in the middle of the supposed battle field, an inch from the MCs face. That was three chapters and believe it or not, I couldn't give you any more detail then that. Cause there really is none. Look if you want a similar book but better written, go read Instant Death, Failure Frame, or Monster Tamer. Each of those has a class sent to a new world, a jerk of a God, and all the average isekai tropes to a certain degree. The only difference is that while non of them of literary masterpieces, they are all fun reads, with decent writing and characters.

Story ok but mc annoying. I like the story and most of the characters. The only problem I have is the extreme stupidity of the mc. I think the author is trying to make him seem aloof and above caring about things like names but he really comes off as an unbelievable idiot. He spends way too much time detailing how little the mc remembers events and people he met minutes before. No one can possibly be that stupid without some kind of brain injury.

great book … I think lol The story was a fun read. It tells how one loner survives in a fantasy world. It took me a bit to get used to the fact that the guy is just forgetful and seams to be a idiot. After finishing the store, I now see him as a thinker but completely lacking in any social skills. This all adds up to a likable guy who gets himself in situations that make you lol and shake your head. Looking forward to reading the next book.

The plot was enjoyable enough, but the main character's complete inability to understand any conversation or pick up on even the most basic social cues wore on my nerves. It was a funny gag for two chapters. For the rest? No. It turned what could be a promising light novel into yet more drivel, just like the rest that plagues this genre.

MC realized his class was about to be isekai'd and his first instinct was to run away from the summoning circle The story at large is not anything special, but it appeals to the 14-year-old in me and I find myself chuckling at the ever increasing ridiculousness Haruka finds himself in and the over-the-top situations with his different classmates/townspeople

This is the internal ramblings of a mentally stunted, weird, volcel, virgin, moron, who thinks he is smart.
The MC is very unlikable, and seems very robotic, lacking any feelings besides lust.
He keeps saying how weak he is (because he is low level) while totally destroying every enemy.
It is maddening.

Not bad for a beginning author. And it's even getting an anime now! If the anime nails the humor of this, it will be an absolute banger. It felt very long for a light novel. It might just be that there are multiple chapters, but usually if I commit myself to reading, I can knock out two of these in a day. This took me two days straight reading. Also, I kind of hate that it spoiled the ultimate fight before the ultimate fight happened.

Hilarious and fun reading. A fresh take on a popular genre. The main character personality and skills are superb. The author does a great job narrating this story and injecting fun moments without resorting to typical fanservice. Really enjoyed and laughed while reading it.

Alright, but frustratingly dumb MC Decent take on the same ol' fantasy isekai fare.
The only real issue if you're into that is how intensely brainless the mc can be.
The action and characterization are both pretty good. Worth a shot if you're bored.

Perfectly written From the start, you get a true understanding of all the narrators from the way they present their stories. Even looking in from the outside, you truly believe that these are the thoughts and actions of a bunch of junior high kids.

I enjoyed the book immensely. To be honest, I thought the light novel was a manga, and was an accidental but. It was worth it, the hilarity throughout of one guy trying to be left alone, but others manage to appear in his life even if names are not remembered.

Honestly the book was mid at best, a very lengthy one at that(over 500 pages) story was mostly funny & there was things done differently so you want to see how it works out but besides that I wouldn’t really recommend in general. But it did make me laugh a few times so there’s that lol

This is one of the funniest books I have read in a long time, what cracked me up was the MC ineptness in remembering people's names and how he frustrated people around him, yet earned their love and begrudgingly their respect. A great read, especially when you need some cheering up.

nope What an annoying character, seriously, it pisses me off .. why have dialogue if nothing is important? Introduce a character a million times and add more pages because the character can’t remember names .. what a way to waste time ..
